Meet the Founder

Dr. Gamze Nur Müjdeci is the Founder and General Manager of CRN Biotech (Cell Research Network), a biotechnology-focused research, development, and consultancy company operating at the interface of academia and industry. She also serves as an Assistant Professor in Türkiye, and holds key roles.

Her expertise lies in microbial biotechnology, fermentation technologies, and the valorization of agro-industrial residues within the framework of circular bioeconomy and sustainable bioprocessing. Dr. Müjdeci has extensive experience in developing and optimizing bioprocesses for the production of high value-added bio-based compounds, including natural pigments, biopolymers, microbial oils, antioxidants, and antimicrobial agents.

Through CRN Biotech, she leads multidisciplinary projects focusing on flexible biorefinery design, process optimization, industrial scale-up, and the integration of techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment into sustainable production systems. Her work emphasizes transforming waste streams into valuable resources, contributing to circular economy strategies and biodiversity-based solutions.

Dr. Müjdeci is actively involved in international collaborations, including European research networks and development projects. She has led and contributed to several nationally and internationally funded projects, particularly in the areas of biomass utilization, sustainable fermentation, and bio-based product development. With a strong combination of academic knowledge and industrial application, she continues to support innovation-driven initiatives, offering strategic consultancy and technical expertise to public institutions, SMEs, and international organizations.
